Victonara Galang
Victonara "Ara" Salas Galang is a Filipina volleyball athlete. She is a multi-awarded athlete and is considered as one of the best volleyball players of the Philippines. She is currently a member of the De La Salle University's collegiate women's varsity volleyball team in both indoor and beach volleyball, and Philippines Women's Volleyball Team. She is an Open Hitter and the team captain (2014) of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers.
==Injury==
During UAAP Season 77, Galang injured her left knee in a Final Four game against the NU Bulldogs on Saturday, March 7, 2015. La Salle prevailed in four sets to advance to the UAAP Finals for a seventh straight season, but the fourth-year player Galang crumpled during a fourth-set spike attempt and clutched her left knee right away upon landing. Galang suffered tears in her Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) and medial miniscus, plus a big bone bruise. The cause has been attributed to fatigue, making her miss the Finals against Ateneo de Manila. She is expected to make her comeback in UAAP Season 78.
